Recent studies show that many options now for booking your own travel plans via the internet. This can cause the client a great deal of confusion and frustration. Of course they tell you that rates begin at $199.00 (example). What they don’t tell you is that this rate does not include taxes, booking fees, miscellaneous fees, or even a charge if you call into the service center for help. They don’t tell you the importance and advantage of the insurance covering your trip.

Ok, so you’ve decided where you want to go, you think you know how you will get there. Did they tell you that passports are required? You decide to save money by booking the resort / hotel that seems to be within your price range – but did it tell you where that room is located within the resort? Do you have a possible upgrade once you get there or what happens many times is your room may not be available and you may need to pay extra.

What is the difference between a standard, deluxe, luxury, ocean view, ocean front, beach front, resort view…etc? So is it an All-Inclusive? Exactly what meals are included and did you find out if the activities offered are truly what will suit the needs of the family? Do you need to make reservations for dinner? Is there a dress code for that restaurant?

Oh wait a minute….what about your transfers when you get to your destination? How much will you pay and who will pick you up? Is it a local cab trying to make a few bucks that will take you on a tour and rack up the miles, or is it a free shuttle offered by the resort?

The list of questions is endless and can be very confusing, if you do not understand the lingo. What you booked may not be what you expect once you get there.

These are only a few reasons why you should seek the advice of a professional travel consultant. We are not here to just take your order and send you on your way. Your best interest is at hand and we want you to have a successful, fun-filled vacation. After all, these memories will last a lifetime, good or bad, frustrated or confusing….Guaranteed, you will not forget this vacation!
