We will be hosting specialty tours, as weather permits. Destinations will include runs such as “Murder Mountain” which will include a narrated tour of the 11 grave sites of Charlie and Frankie Silver. Frankie has the distinction of being the first woman hanged in N.C. This is a skilled ride that is 150 + miles into the N.C. and TN. high country.

Another destination will be “Grandfather Loop” which will completely circle the mountain. The ride includes spectacular views and many points of interest such as Linville Caverns, the footbridge atop Grandfather Mountain (the highest in the east), Lynn Cove Viaduct, Tweetsie Amusement Park, Price Lake, and the haunted Cone Manor House. This is a skilled ride that is 200 + miles.

How about the breathtaking views from “Pretty Place” ? If you have never been to Camp Greenville atop the majestic Caesars Head state park, this is a must-see. The ride will continue into Brevard, Hendersonville, Chimney Rock, and Lake Lure N.C. There are plenty of curves leading up to Caesars Head, but this is still an easy ride.

These are just a few of the rides we will be offering this year. We can also customize a ride for your private group.

Now, a little about us: Rick and Tony have 60+ years combined riding experience, ranging from cross country to the high mountains. Each one of us rides more than 10,000 miles a year to stay abreast of road changes and in search of new adventures. We look forward to sharing our love of the sport with you, and hope to see you on the road soon.

As with any ride, plan to follow state laws regarding use of helmet and proper riding gear. We recommend that you pack rain gear, protective glasses, etc… for a more comfortable ride.

Recent studies show that many options now for booking your own travel plans via the internet. This can cause the client a great deal of confusion and frustration. Of course they tell you that rates begin at $199.00 (example). What they don’t tell you is that this rate does not include taxes, booking fees, miscellaneous fees, or even a charge if you call into the service center for help. They don’t tell you the importance and advantage of the insurance covering your trip.

Ok, so you’ve decided where you want to go, you think you know how you will get there. Did they tell you that passports are required? You decide to save money by booking the resort / hotel that seems to be within your price range – but did it tell you where that room is located within the resort? Do you have a possible upgrade once you get there or what happens many times is your room may not be available and you may need to pay extra.

What is the difference between a standard, deluxe, luxury, ocean view, ocean front, beach front, resort view…etc? So is it an All-Inclusive? Exactly what meals are included and did you find out if the activities offered are truly what will suit the needs of the family? Do you need to make reservations for dinner? Is there a dress code for that restaurant?

Oh wait a minute….what about your transfers when you get to your destination? How much will you pay and who will pick you up? Is it a local cab trying to make a few bucks that will take you on a tour and rack up the miles, or is it a free shuttle offered by the resort?

The list of questions is endless and can be very confusing, if you do not understand the lingo. What you booked may not be what you expect once you get there.

These are only a few reasons why you should seek the advice of a professional travel consultant. We are not here to just take your order and send you on your way. Your best interest is at hand and we want you to have a successful, fun-filled vacation. After all, these memories will last a lifetime, good or bad, frustrated or confusing….Guaranteed, you will not forget this vacation!
