Dr. Jennings Putnam, Pastor

Pastor Putnam is Senior Pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship. Pastor Putnam received his Doctorate of Theology from Mid-Atlantic Seminary in 1988. He served as a Southern Baptist minister for 20 years. In February of 1999 he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit; in November of that year God led him to start a Spirit-filled church. Calvary Christian Fellowship was birthed in February of 2000.

Pastor Putnam is married to Susan, who leads our Women’s Ministry, and our Intercessory Prayer Team. She also teachers and ministers with our Pastor in many other areas of church ministry. They have two daughters, Shay and Julie, and seven grandchildren. Pastor enjoys golfing and fishing, and he and Susan ride their motorcycle with the Christian Motorcycle Association.

 

David Kemp, Youth Ministries Pastor

David has been in youth ministry for nine years and enjoys being involved in the lives of teenagers. He has an Associates degree from the International School of Ministry.

Pastor David is married to Shay, who loves leading our Praise Team and teaching.

 

Shay Kemp, Worship Leader

Shay has a Bachelors of Education from Francis Marion University. She taught kindergarten until the birth of their first child. She now enjoys homeschooling with her four children: Joseph, Miriam, Benjamin, and Lydia.

She sings with her family “The Putnam’s” and has for many years. Shay has a true heart for the Father and it is evident in her worship.
